We went back and he had been reinfected with croup! So we had more cortisone etc etc. Touch wood he seems to be on the mend but we have been banned from closed spaces etc for at least another 2 weeks to guard against reinfection.
How is your youngest now? |
| patricia replied on 30/10/2009 at 10:17 e-mail patricia | | So happy to hear that, Joanne! I hope that the next two weeks fly by for you without any further complications.
I remember when my children were preschoolers. Their first two years of school, they caught every single infection that came along and spent more time home sick, then they did in the classroom. Frantic with worry, the pediatrician assured me that my darlings were just building up their immunity systems by catching all these illnesses :-)
My youngest has made a full recovery, and is back to her old vibrant self. Thank you for asking.
Take care! |

Yes I have been warned to expect him at home as often as not! Am just hoping he settles back in when he goes back, he'd just got used to it and settled and then this! Oh well, nothing I can do I guess......I dread to think how many times I will have watched Thomas the Tank DVDs by the time he goes back! Glad your youngest is ok now. |
