Just wanted to say that we had to go to the Bambino Gesu childrens hospital the other day with my poorly son, went to the clinic section and they were excellent, so thorough, spent loads of time with us then and again this morning. So if you find yourself in a situation like me where your pedatrician is closed or you want a second opinion I would really advise going there. |

| Oh dear, Joanne! I'm really sorry to hear that your son's been so ill! Poor little guy! He must be missing his schoolmates.
Your personal account of the experience you've just had at Bambino Gesu only adds to list of positive ones I've heard about them since moving to Rome. They're definitely the first hospital on my radar to run to in case of emergency.
My youngest is home today from school with a little tummy bug. Nothing too serious.
I hope that your son makes a speedy recovery.
Take care, Patricia

| I'd second (or third) that - even at three in the morning. Surprisingly the waiting room's incredibly busy even at that hour. |

I think he is missing his friends Patricia, poor little thing. Going to be at least another 2 weeks before he goes back so he will be climbing the walls by then. Had another bad night so back to Bambinu Gesu this afternoon to see if needs more cortisone! What a week. Ah well at least we can have his prescribed "consitutional" walk on the Janiculum Hill while we are up there. There are worse places in the world to be ill....
Hope your youngest is on the mend | |

| Hi Joanne,
I've been extremely busy as my kids are on a school break this week and part of next week, but you've been on my mind. I really hope your son's condition has improved by now. Hows he doing? |
