To celebrate the 400 year celebration of Galileo a major exhibition at the Palazzo Esposizioni charts the history of the exploration of the universe.

A wide range of music, dance and cultural events make up the Autumn long Romaeuropa Festival which is held in a variety of venues throughout Rome including the Auditorium and Teatro Olimpico.

The Auditorium sees the return of the Rome Jazz festival. Coinciding with the 90 year anniversary of the recording of the first jazz disc in Italy this Autumn's festival sees a wide range of international and up and coming stars appearing.

The Santa Cecilia Orchestra and Choir perform Mozart, Szymanowski and Dvořák at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Auditorium Parco della Musica. The Saturday performance starts at 18:00, Monday at 21:00 and Tuesday at 19:30.

The Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma perform Rossini, Mozart and Mendelssohn at the Auditorium Conciliazione. Performance on Sunday begins at 17:30 and Monday at 20:30.

International jazz festival held at the Auditorium throughout November. Jamie Cullum will be amongst the international names due to appear.

The So What Band continue the Rome Jazz Festival at the Auditorium. Their performance will include a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of “Kind of Blue”, the highest selling jazz record of all time. Concert starts at 21:00 and tickets begin at €14.00.

The Autumn pub quiz season continues in the Abbey Theatre Pub, Via Governo Vecchio in the historical centre. The prize for winning the league is €400.
